Malta Marauders is Malta’s only Veterans touring rugby team. The team was formed in 2003, in response to a growing demand to offer similar opposition to touring Veterans teams visiting Malta. Since then, Marauders has hosted teams from many countries, including UK, France, Spain, Netherlands and Italy.
Malta Marauders is comprised of both Maltese and expatriate players. Although many of the team members have retired from regular competition, some are still playing members of local league teams. Others are now refereeing.
The team tours annually, and hosts a Veterans tournament in Malta every May.
